George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces Revolution

Amazing Spaces Ekopod with Canopy and Stars

There’s an Amazing Spaces revolution going on in the UK. Fuelled by the Channel 4 series presented by George Clarke and conceived by friend to Inspired Camping, Jane Field-Lewis, many with a desire to escape into their own amazing space are beginning to realise it is possible with the right inspiration and motivation, no matter how small their budget.

Jane Field-Lewis touches on this very thing within her sumptuous book My Cool Shed, and Series 1 of Amazing Spaces continues to build on it with an array of awe inspiring small amazing space ideas. And the Christmas Special (20 December 2012) and Series 2 promise to be just as good.

Included within their inspirations are renovated caravans, tree houses, converted busses and beach huts, to name but a few. Each one contains innovative ways of overcoming storage and living issues within a small space; ideal inspiration for camping.

In celebration of those amazing spaces, we have put together a gallery of inspiring pictures, including some from Amazing Spaces George Clarke and Canopy and Stars. OK, not all of them are entirely camping related, but there’s no doubt they are all a gorgeous translation of small space loveliness, which can easily be re-created within a tent, caravan or campervan setting for the ultimate camping or glamping experience.
