A Note About Grenadine

Grenadine should be made with pomegranate juice, but as this is so hard to extract from the fruit most shop bought juice is made with corn syrup and red dye (yuck!)… so make sure you buy 100% pomegranate grenadine or prepare this quick recipe at home before you leave for the campsite.

2 cups pomegranate juice;
4 tablespoons pomegranate syrup;
1.5 cups of sugar;
2 teaspoons rosewater.
